Heart Attack Awareness

The primary goal of the Heart Attack Awareness Campaign is to optimize the
diagnosis and treatment of STEMI.

To improve first medical contact to ECG times, we are providing symptoms posters to display in ED waiting areas and hospital lobbies.

To improve door-in door-out (DIDO) at the SRF, we are providing a transfer
algorithm poster to facilitate prompt diagnosis of STEMI and immediate call for 911 transfer for patients who will benefit from primary PCI.

Our goal is a DIDO of less than 30 minutes.

This has been shown to reduce mortality.
